Tottenham 1-1 draw against Everton

Tottenham's hopes of finishing in the top four of the Premier League were dashed by Michael Keane's incredible 90th-minute equaliser as Cristian Stellini's interim tenure at the club began with a 1-1 draw against Everton. As Abdoulaye Doucoure was dismissed for elbowing the Tottenham striker in the face, Harry Kane's penalty appeared to move Tottenham up to third place in the standings. Nevertheless, the odds were levelled when Lucas Moura also received a red card two minutes from time, just before Keane's thunderbolt saved a crucial point in Everton's fight against the drop.

Tottenham has played two more games than its competitors for a spot in the Champions League for the upcoming season, but they are now tied for fourth position with Newcastle and Manchester United in terms of points.
