According to L'Equipe (h/t football.london), Tottenham Hotspur turned down a €20 million offer from Napoli for Tanguy Ndombele during the current transfer window. The France international played on loan for the Partenopei in 2022–2023 and won the Serie A championship at that time. The Italian team had the opportunity to make his move permanent for €30 million, but they chose not to exercise it. The Naples-based team is now seeking a deal for the midfielder. Ange Postecoglou, though, is a fan of the 26-year-old. The manager wants to give him another chance to play for Spurs in that regard.
Ndombele was acquired by Tottenham in the 2019 summer when Mauricio Pochettino was still in charge. But the Argentinean manager quit the team not long after that. The French national thereafter had a crucial position in Jose Mourinho's starting lineup. However, Antonio Conte lacked confidence in the midfielder, and in January 2022, he temporarily moved to Olympique Lyon.
