The First Chamber of the UEFA Club Financial Control Committee (CFCB) has announced that it has authorized the participation of six clubs in European competitions in 2023/24, including Vitória SC and Aston Villa, linked by the V Sports fund.
"Following the implementation of significant changes by the clubs and their related investors, the First Chamber of the CFCB has accepted the admission of the said clubs into UEFA club competitions for the 2023/24 season. comply with the multi-club ownership rule", reads the statement issued by the European football body.
It should be recalled that, in order to comply with the requirements established by UEFA, Vitória SC announced, on the 30th of June, that it carried out reformulations in the agreement with the English club, already after the reduction of the participation of the V Sports fund in SAD of the emblem of Guimarães.
