Vitor Roque unlikely to join Barcelona this summer

Vitor Roque will not go to Barcelona this year. According to 'Globo Esporte', Athletico Paranaense will not let the young Brazilian striker leave during 2023. His arrival is agreed for next year, and he could arrive in the following winter transfer window.

The South American side are currently involved in the Copa Libertadores, where they lost the first leg 3-1 to Bolívar. However, even if he is out of the tournament in this round of 16, he would remain at the club due to the goal of qualifying for next season's Libertadores.

On the other hand, former player Rivaldo spoke to 'TNT Brasil' advising Vitor Roque on his arrival at Barça. "He must be calm, not be afraid, not be shy. Go forward because Spanish football is very easy to play in, he's going to have space and he's going to stand out for sure".
