Xavi Simons made himself an even more household name

Despite RB Leipzig's loss to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, Xavi Simons, the 20-year-old talent on loan from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has caught the attention of top European clubs. FC Barcelona, in particular, regrets letting Simons leave their academy and is reportedly considering bringing him back. However, the situation is complex as the Dutch international is under contract with PSG until mid-2027. 

Simons will return to PSG after the current loan spell, becoming a key figure in their young squad amid a transitional period, especially with Kylian Mbappé's potential departure.
