Canada unveils their Softball’s Olympic roster

Team Canada is all set to steal the gold at Tokyo 2020 Olympic games after they released their softball roster. The last Olympic softball tournament took place thirteen years ago. Now a 15 member squad is ready to participate in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The roster also includes Danielle Lawrie, Kaleigh Rafter, Lauren Regula, and Jenn Salling, four members who participated in the Beijing 2008 as well.

For Regula, it would be her third game as she participated in Athens as well in 2004. Joining the four we have Jenna Caira, Emma Entzminger, Larissa Franklin, Jennifer Gilbert, Sara Groenewegen, Kelsey Harshman, Victoria Hayward, Janet Leung, Joey Lye, Erika Polidori, and Natalie Wideman as well. Canada bears the gold medal in softball after they won Toronto 2015 Pan American Games as well beating Team USA for it. Later they also won the bronze medal in WBSC World Championships in 2018.
