Portland Trail Blazers player Anfernee Simons added 23 points with 11 assists as the host recorded a 114-108 triumph over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night. Simons was averaging at 29 points in his past four challenges after the profession-high 43-point appearance against the Atlanta Hawks. Simons shot 10 of 24 from the field and even got six rebounds. Robert Covington also added 21 points for the Blazers as the team won the third time in five games.
Ben McLemore scored 20 points and then hit two of his five 3-pointers in the last 96 seconds. Portland also had Jusuf Nurkic on 14 points with eight rebounds and Nassir Little contributed 13 points as well while he shot 46.5 percent from the floor. Kevin Durant gathered 28 points and 10 rebounds for the Nets but still they could not push for the win.
