Shorthanded Orlando Magic struggled against Portland Trail Blazers and ultimately surrendered to a 106-97 loss with Damian Lillard posting the match's highest numbers 36 points with 18 off which in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, Carmelo Anthony sealed a win with 13 of his season-high 23 points. Orlando did not pose much of a threat throughout the night they were trailing behind by 17 points in the third quarter and did nothing to close in without Evan Fournier.
Portland sealed a comfortable lead in the first quarter itself and Magic tried hard to catch up, they came close even with red hot Terrence Ross scoring 11 points in the second quarter to cut the lead but when Cole Anthony left the floor, they lacked the edge. Orlando registered one more loss which might be too heavy for them to bear.
