Terence Davis, 27, began last season with Portland's G League club, the Rip City Remix. He featured in only three games before sustaining a ruptured Achilles, which terminated his season. Davis, who chose the G League over a more well-paid offer in Europe, is aiming to show that he is fit enough to return to the NBA after a year away. He last appeared for Sacramento in the 2022/23 season, averaging 6.7 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in 64 games, mostly as a reserve.
He has been an explosive scorer off the bench for most of his NBA career, shooting 42/37/79 in 227 games. Even if Davis receives an invitation to join Milwaukee for training camp, he will face stiff competition for a roster place. The Bucks already have 14 players on fully guaranteed contracts, including Andre Jackson, who has a $946K guarantee on his $1.89MM deal for the next season.
