Miami Heat had to thank Bam Adebayo for Sunday's 109-107 win over Brooklyn Nets after his buzzer beater 13-foot long jumper helped Heat win. Both the teams were shorthanded for the night, Jimmy Butler was sidelined with a sprained ankle while Nets were without Kevin Durant and James Harden. Adebayo stepped up to lead the team with 21 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists and closed the chapter on their 3 match losing streak.
Nets, on the other hand, had Landry Shamet with career-high 30 points, shooting 7-of-12 3-pointers to keep them close to Heat all night after losing Durant to injury within 8 minutes. But Heat had a good contribution off the bench by Dewayne Dedmon who scored 10 points and 10 rebounds and Goran Dragic also chipped in with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
