It has only been a month since ex Dallas Mavericks swingman Josh Richardson joined the franchise and now has even signed a one-year extension with Celtics. The new contract is worth $12 million and had one year and $11.5 million left as per his previous contract. Richardson would now be seen at TD Garden through the 2022-23 NBA season. The 27-year-old had averaged 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists with Mavs last season in 59 games starting 56 of them himself.
Richardson was the second-round pick of the 2015 draft, he was picked by Miami Heat and since has played 373 career games and has a career average of 12.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.1 steals. After Miami, he played for 76ers as well and then moved to Mavs in November 2020.
