Celtics secure win over Pistons, Tatum scores 24

The Boston Celtics won 102-93 over the Detroit Pistons on Friday night, extending their winning streak to four games. Jayson Tatum scored 24 points in 28 minutes. The Celtics won for the sixth time in seven games, thanks to Jaylen Brown's 13 points. Boston never trailed and led by as many as 24 points, thanks to 12 points from Josh Richardson and 11 points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks from Robert Williams. The Celtics' four-game winning run is their longest of the season.

As Detroit finished a four-game homestand with a loss for the seventh time in eight games, Hamidou Diallo scored 21 points and 14 rebounds. Saddiq Bey led the team with 21 points, while Jerami Grant chipped in with ten. In the first half, Boston restricted Detroit to a season-low point total and led 46-31 at halftime. The previous low was 37 points, set against the New York Knicks.
