Charlotte Hornets defeated the Chicago Bulls 111-96

LaMelo Ball contributed 15 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists after missing three games due to an injured ankle and wrist. This helped the team overcome a terrible 2-for-15 shooting effort from the field. Gordon Hayward scored 17 points. Zach LaVine ended with 18 points and nine rebounds for the Bulls, although he was quiet in the second half. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 28 points for the Bulls. Despite Patrick Williams scoring 15 points, Chicago's three-game winning streak was ended.

By using a balanced assault and limiting the Hornets to 39.5% shooting in the first half, the Bulls created a 55-47 advantage at the intermission. Although Rozier scored six points in a row, including a steal at midcourt that resulted in a fast-break layup, the Hornets fought back to level the game at 71 late in the third quarter. Rozier tied the club mark most thefts in a quarter with his five steals in the third quarter.
