Chicago Bulls cruised past the Brooklyn Nets 128-102

Josh Giddey recorded his first triple-double of the season, tallying 20 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists, as the Chicago Bulls cruised past the Brooklyn Nets 128-102 on Monday night. This marked the 12th triple-double of Giddey’s career.

Nikola Vucevic contributed 21 points and 10 rebounds for Chicago, while rookie Matas Buzelis impressed with 20 points on 7-for-10 shooting. Zach LaVine added 18 points as the Bulls bounced back after losing three of their last four games. The Nets suffered their third straight defeat in four days. Dariq Whitehead led Brooklyn with 18 points, and Dennis Schroder chipped in 16 points and 10 assists. Missing forward Cam Johnson, who sprained his left ankle after a 26-point outing Sunday, Brooklyn struggled with injuries. Chicago broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring the Nets 36-22, with Giddey setting up a Buzelis basket to push the lead to 92-72 entering the final period.
