Originally selected as the 58th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, he previously played 42 contests for the Milwaukee Bucks to start his professional career.

By releasing him, the Cavaliers now possess an open roster spot to add another two-way player. Currently, the franchise retains Nae’Qwan Tomlin and Luke Travers under similar deals.
