Clippers overcame a 24 point deficit to daze 76ers

Reggie Jackson had 19 points and nine assists, Nicolas Batum added 15 points and the Los Angeles Clippers mobilized from a 24-direct deficiency and rout the hosts Philadelphia 76ers 102-101 on Friday. Ivica Zubac chipped in with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Marcus Morris Sr. and Amir Coffey scored 12 points each for the Clippers.

With Los Angeles in the driving seat, Morris missed two free tosses with 9.4 seconds left, allowing the Sixers one final opportunity but Tyrese Maxey missed a sprinter at the ringer as well. Joel Embiid ended the night with 40 points, 13 rebounds and six assists to lead the Sixers, who were a piece slender without key players like Seth Curry, Matisse Thybulle, Shake Milton, and Danny Green.
