Daniel E. Straus is serious about buying Timberwolves, Lynx

The former Memphis Grizzlies co-owner Daniel E. Straus is looking forward to buying the Timberwolves and Lynx. The team had been put on sale by the present owner Glen Taylor the previous month. Although there had been many who showed interest, it’s only Straus with whom the talks have gone the farthest. Preliminary documents required for sale have already been drawn up and now both the sides are busy negotiating for the deal. Kevin Garnett too had shown keen interest to buy the team. However, he didn’t engage in any formal talks with Taylor. A lawyer by profession, Straus has spent most of his wealth running health care companies. Having also served as the vice-chairman of the Grizzlies, he traded his stake in the team in 2018.
