Denver Nuggets defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, 132-126

The Denver Nuggets secured their first preseason win on Thursday night, defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 132-126 to wrap up their exhibition schedule with a 1-4 record. Leading the charge was rookie Julian Strawther, who posted an impressive 33 points, shooting 8-of-13 from the field and an efficient 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. Strawther was aggressive in getting to the line, converting 12 of his 13 free throw attempts. 

Jamal Murray also delivered a standout performance, adding 25 points while shooting 6-of-13 from the field. He was particularly effective from deep, nailing 5 of his 6 three-point attempts, many off the catch. Michael Porter Jr. showed versatility with 16 points in 23 minutes, focusing on scoring inside the arc, making 6 of his 7 shots from 2-point range, and attacking the basket with authority.
