With a 145-113 victory over the Houston Rockets, the Boston Celtics extended their unblemished home record to 19 games. Jaylen Brown led the charge with 32 points, playing a key part in the Celtics' dominating victory. Brown also scored six rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks before collapsing into Udoka and tripping the ball out of bounds midway through the game. Brown and Jayson Tatum almost had their 27th 30-30 game, but Tatum was ejected in the fourth quarter and fell short of 30 points.
Udoka later agreed that the Rockets' entry into the second part of a back-to-back, the return of Dillon Brooks after a long absence, and Tari Eason's absence all had an influence on Houston's 145-113 thrashing at the hands of Brown, Tatum, and the new teammates around them.
