Davis Bertans is still chasing his NBA dream even though he has been connected to many EuroLeague teams. The Latvian forward will practice with the Golden State Warriors in the hopes of signing a deal. Arturs Kalnitis, the player's agent, verified this information as well.
Together with the Golden State Warriors, Bertans will get ready for the next campaign, he wrote. The 31-year-old Latvian was moved to the Charlotte Hornets in the middle of the previous season after starting with the Oklahoma City Thunder. This summer, while playing for the Latvian national team in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Riga, Bertans was released by the Hornets. Bertans averaged 6.7 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 38% three-point shooting in 43 games during the previous campaign. He is hopeful his time with the Golden State Warriors will be fruitful this year.
