Injury-hit Warriors did not have a player over 6-foot-7 still outscored Mavs with Draymond Green posting 11 points and a season-high 15 assists. Mavs climbed closer to Warriors in the third quarter when the score was once 93-91 with a floater by Tim Hardaway Jr. and approx. 6 minutes left on the clock.
Golden State changed the momentum of the game to post 17-4 after a combination of outside shooting and attacks on the rim to end the third quarter 110-96 in the lead. Warriors were without James Wiseman, Kevon Looney, and Eric Paschall who were sidelined due to injury. Instead, Warriors relied on Green and Juan Toscano-Anderson for the night and posted their season best 147 points.
