Golden State Warriors took down Boston Celtics in Game 5 to take a 3-2 lead in the NBA finals series. They now enjoy a very real chance of lifting their fourth title of Steve Kerr era when they meet the Boston team for Game 6. Andrew Wiggins powered the side to a 104-94 triumph over the Celtics in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Jordan Poole also unleashed on the side with a 10-point burst, Warriors did their best to never let the Celtics closer than seven points and pushed for a consecutive win.
Stephen Curry might not have been his usual self but the squad picked up the pace, Curry missed all his nine three-point attempts and managed a score of just 16 points. Jayson Tatum kept Celtics going with game-high 27 points shooting five-for-nine from beyond the arc while Marcus Smart scored 20 points, Jaylen Brown had 18 and Robert Williams III managed to contribute just 10 points.
