Ja Morant wasn’t a part of 9 games this season. However, his return in the match against the Pelicans contributed to the victory. Grizzlies will seal their regular season playing against Boston on Sunday at home. For the Pelicans, Brandon Clarke scored 20 points while Ziaire Williams and Desmond Bane added 19 and 18 points respectively.
CJ McCollum led New Orleans with 16 points, while Willy Hernangomez secured 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Jaxson Hayes scored 13 points. The Pelicans gave their performance without scoring leader Brandon Ingram. He has been not been playing two consecutive games due to hamstring tightness.
