The second-placed Memphis Grizzlies crushed the Minnesota Timberwolves, 114-106, winning the first-round season playoff series 4-2. Desmond Bane and Dillon Brooks drove the Grizzlies obnoxiously, wrapping up with 23 points each. Bane shot 9-for-15 from the field and 5-for-9 from 3 while adding seven rebounds. Meanwhile, Brooks shot 9-for-19 from the field 5-for-6 from 3. Ja Morant got done with 17 points and a group high 11 assists to add eight rebounds as well.
Brandon Clarke overwhelmed helping the Grizzlies out-bounce back the Timberwolves 56-37. Timberwolves were front-running all through the vast majority of a tight first half against the Grizzlies, driving 29-28 after the first quarter prior to taking a three-point advantage, 52-49, into the halftime break. The Grizzlies would wake up in the final quarter, outscoring the Timberwolves 40-22, and then went on to win the playoff series.
