Hawks and Miami are ready for the preseason opener

Atlanta Hawks would start their 2021 preseason by taking on Miami Heat in the opener and would soon play hosts to Heat on 14th October when the season starts officially. This season though Atalanta has a lot of players with injuries, might continue putting in efforts that got them close to NBA Finals before they lost to Bucks in Eastern Conference Finals.

Meanwhile, Heat has a lot to prove as well after the first-round exit which was handed to them by Bucks. These two weeks would be grueling for Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Jahlil Okafor, as they fight for a spot on the roster. Atalanta would be without a number of key players due to injuries, Clint Capela, Kevin Huerter, De’Andre Hunter and Onyeka Okongwu while Heat would be without Victor Oladipo.
