The new NBA season has already been announced and the teams have already dived headfirst in the bid to prepare for yet one more action-packed season. Miami Heat is no exception they have already nailed down 14 players for their 2021-22 roster and have one more space left. The rumors have pointed towards young players like Marcus Garrett and Micah Potter but they could never go wrong with veterans as well and they have some good options available in free agency.
With the likes of JJ Redick, James Ennis, Tyler Johnson, Wesley Matthews, and Paul Millsap all still looking for a home for next season. Redick could play a dual role of bench depth as well as a mentor. Ennis would fit in well with Kyle Lowry, PJ Tucker, and Markieff Morris. Former player Johnson would add more depth to the roster. While Millsap is most likely to be picked up but Matthews would bring in more wing depth with him.
