Yuta Watanabe was one of three bright spots in the game, contributing 10 points and looking the spriest he has looked since coming off of injury. Nash also had a solid first half, including two nice offensive possessions, but his second half was just one of the guys. Kevin Durant finished with 26 points and a combined seven blocks, steals on six blocks. Despite the fact that Durant had four points at halftime, that still felt like too much.
He shot his first shot seven minutes into the game, but over-correcting for an inefficient first half was not effective. He attempted to will Brooklyn to a win by shooting eight-20 from the field but didn't finish with enough points. On this team, Simmons is always in a precarious position, and Durant may impose his will. The moment was forced, and it didn't seem like it was necessary.
