The Indiana Pacers turned it on against the Milwaukee Bucks in the second half and scored 84 points, shocking everyone by defeating their division rivals and ending a 10-game losing run. The Pacers had an early 3-2 lead in the game, but it seemed that was all Indiana had for most of the night as they swiftly fell down by double digits and gave up 40 points in the first round. Despite being in a rut against Milwaukee, Indiana managed to prevent the game from ever getting out of hand. Even though they jumped out to a 16-5 lead in the first few minutes, the Bucks never led by more than 14 points tonight.
Wesley Matthews' three-pointer gave the Bucks a one-point lead, but Indiana's backcourt of Andrew Nembhard and George Hill answered with nine straight points to increase their advantage to double digits.
