Jalen Suggs made his intentions clear regarding his future in Orlando

Three weeks ago during Magic media day, Jalen Suggs stated rather clearly what he intended to accomplish with his future in Orlando. Suggs and the Magic assisted him in monitoring his objective on Monday. Suggs and the Magic reached an agreement on a five-year, $150.5 million rookie contract extension less than two hours before Monday's 6 p.m. deadline for 2021 draft selections, a league source informed the Orlando Sentinel. 

The league source claims that the contract extension is totally guaranteed and does not have any options. Magic executives negotiated the new contract and Suggs' agent, Wasserman's Darren Matsubara, during a series of meetings in Orlando on the last day to settle the details, according to ESPN. Suggs sent a message on social media and the team subsequently made the extension formal announcement.
