The Pacers also had injuries to Andrew Nembhard (back) and Aaron Nesmith (shin), while Isaiah Jackson departed the game in the first quarter after being struck in the head.

With 10 assists and 20 points, T.J. McConnell helped Indiana win for the tenth time in 13 games. Jalen Smith finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds, while Myles Turner contributed 18 points. For Sacramento, Kevin Huerter scored a career-high 31 points, nailing 7 of his 12 3-point attempts. The Kings dropped their fourth straight game, despite 27 points and nine rebounds from Keegan Murray. Damontas Sabonis had his 12th triple-double of the year with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.
