Lakers consider DeAndre Jordan trade

Lakers are at the forefront of the race for DeAndre Jordan this offseason. Their chase for the title this season seems strong after they added a lot of big men to the squad, Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, and Rajon Rondo. Now they shift their aim towards Jordan. Nets have traded the player to Detroit and after they buy him out, LA can go ahead and sign him.

Lakers have a solid plan in place to support LeBron James and Westbrook with shooting, Anthony Davis, Howard, Marc Gasol and Jordan would be at the center adding more depth which was lacking last season. Though many reports do suggest if the Lakers-Jordan deal does go through it could mean Gasol might like be dropped. The 36 years old is still a good player and might draw a lot of interest in that case.
