Lakers’ Plans for 2021 offseason

August is pretty busy for the Los Angeles Lakers, given their action plan for the roster settings to extent player number from five with the 2021-22 campaign ahead and offseason underway. The priorities for the selection appear to be quite clear and the names are popping up accordingly. After aiding LeBron James and Anthony Davis with point guard Russell Westbrook, players Carmelo Anthony, Trevor Ariza, Kent Bazemore, Wayne Ellington, and Dwight Howard complete the veteran tally for LA.

The list to grow further with numerous free agents, including point guard Isaiah Thomas linked with the New Orleans Pelicans under consideration. The NBA title win in 2019-20 is still up for redemption following a 42-30 win over the Golden State Warriors taking No. 7 seed in the Western Conference only to lose six games to the Phoenix Suns. Therefore, the trio along with youngsters Talen Horton-Tucker, Malik Monk, and Kendrick Nunn are the targets for ending the title quest of the Lakers in the coming season.
