Marvin Williams retires from the league

Milwaukee Bucks’ forward player announced his retirement from the league after 15 seasons following the Bucks elimination from the 2020 NBA playoffs after losing to Miami Heat. The veteran player has averaged 10.2 points and 5.2 rebounds in 1072 NBA games. He was also selected as second overall by Atlanta Hawks in the 2005 NBA draft.

The former University of North Carolina star in his career has played with mainly four NBA organizations- Atlanta, Utah, Charlotte, and Milwaukee, his longest tenure was at Atlanta from 2005 to 2012. The 34-year-old from Washington had the ability to defend from multiple positions and was a great 3-pointers shooter as well.
