The latest flurry of powerful, bold games from the Detroit Pistons’ third-year guard was not only the best game of Killian’s career, but it also showcased him taking charge of the game late, hitting shots in overtime and playing defence against the NBA’s most dangerous scorer - Luka Doncic. The Pistons-Mavs competition was the only game on the schedule, the entire NBA world was watching it earlier today.

Hayes wrapped it up with 22 points, eight assists, four rebounds and just two turnovers. Hayes bagged 10 of his 13 shots including a pair of clutch 3s in overtime to secure the victory for the Pistons. He scored eight of Detroit’s 14 points in the overtime period.

The pistons were working on offence and made poor decisions. Jaden Ivey took a 32-footer. Alec Burks, replaced Ivey after the poor shot and his poor execution led to a desperate Isaiah Stewart 3-pointer that barely caught the rim.
