Mavericks Still Interested in Trading for Hawks’ Clint Capela

Unrestricted free agency applies to Nowell. He participated in last year's Minnesota Timberwolves season. Last season, Nowell played in 65 games for the Timberwolves. While shooting 44.8% from the field, 28.9% from outside the arc, and 77.8% from the free-throw line, he also averaged 10.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.

In 184 games with the Timberwolves, Nowell, 24, has averaged 9.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists throughout the course of his career. He was selected out of Washington with the 43rd overall choice in the 2019 NBA Draught. According to Stein, the Mavericks are still interested in trade for Atlanta Hawks centre Clint Capela. According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst and Tim MacMahon, Capela is up for grabs, and the Mavericks are keen to team the big man with Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic.
