Miami defeated Boston 111-105

Miami defeated Boston 111-105 on Friday night to grab a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference finals thanks in part to the 27 points from Jimmy Butler, who made a pair of baskets to give the Heat the lead after they overcame a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter. For eighth-seeded Miami, who won twice in Boston to earn a chance to complete the sweep at home, Bam Adebayo scored 22 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, and dished out nine assists. Caleb Martin scored 25 points after coming off the bench.

For Boston, Jayson Tatum scored 34 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assists. But in the fourth quarter, when Boston squandered an 89-77 lead and suffered its second home defeat in three nights, the star of the Celtics went 0 for 2 and committed two turnovers.
