Miami Heat sinks Orlando Magic with three point barrage

The Miami Heat ruined the Orlando Magic's first game at the Kia Center and the return of Wendell Carter Jr. with a 115-106 setback on Wednesday. The setback stopped Orlando's (16-10) nine-game home winning run and extended their losing streak to three games. Due to a damaged ankle, Magic forward Joe Ingles was out, while Miami (16-12) was missing forwards Jimmy Butler and Kevin Love.

Tyler Herro led the Heat with 28 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, he was also one of seven players on the team to score in double digits. Bam Adebayo, the center, had 18 points, while Highsmith had 15. The Heat hit eight three-pointers in the first quarter, with center Haywood Highsmith hitting four and guard Josh Richardson hitting two. The 43 points surrendered to Miami are the most by Orlando in a quarter this season.
