In the 21 appearances, he has made for the former defending champions he has averaged 2.1 points on 57.1 percent shooting from the field and 1.8 rebounds. In the 2019-20 season the center made 33 outings with Lakers’ G League affiliate, the Sout Bay Lakers, where he was more successful and posted 19.3 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 1.1 steals. His impressive performance even helped him claim the All-NBA G League First Team and NBA G League All-Rookie Team invitation.
