New York Knicks 100-95 overtime win over the Minnesota Timberwolves

The New York Knicks improved their preseason record to 3-0 with a 100-95 overtime win over the Minnesota Timberwolves at Madison Square Garden. Mikal Bridges led the way with 15 points, including 3-of-7 from three, while Jalen Brunson added 11 points. The Knicks played without Josh Hart, but Karl-Anthony Towns stepped up for Minnesota with a double-double in 26 minutes. 

Miles McBride and Jordan Clarkson contributed 10 points each off the bench. Anthony Edwards paced the Timberwolves with 17 points, and former Knick Julius Randle scored 16. Despite missing a key player, New York’s starters set an early tone with a 7-2 run fueled by strong defense, though Minnesota quickly responded with a 7-0 run. Towns shone early with aggressive drives, finishing the first quarter with five points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals, keeping the contest tightly contested.
