Nuggets defeat reigning champion 136-100

Denver Nuggets steered clear of Milwaukee Bucks with a 136-100 win on Sunday night, with Nikola Jokic’s 18 points, 15 assists, and 9 rebounds. The ruling NBA MVP but missed his thirteenth triple-double of this season and still managed to match his career-high in assists. Nuggets also saw Aaron Gordon score 24 points, Monte Morris had 18 and Will Barton 15. With the win, they improved their record to 4-0 on a six-game excursion and even managed to match their longest series of wins of the period.

Milwaukee star Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 29 points but trailed in the second half with 22 of his points coming in the principal half. The rest of the squad also fell short in their efforts Jrue Holiday scored just 14 points, and Bobby Portis, added 11 for the Bucks. Next Nuggets would take on Minnesota and on the same day Bucks would play hosts to Washington.
