Denver Nuggets stunned Golden State Warriors with a 117-116 triumph in San Francisco with a last-minute win when Monte Morris converted Nikola Jokic’s assist into a game-winning three-pointer on Wednesday. Warriors were leading by 16 points and pushed for a win until Nuggets took over. Jokic grabbed eight assists along with game-highs 35 points and 17 rebounds.
This was Nuggets second win against Golden State, who relied on Curry to post 25 points as the team posted their second-best 42-17 record in NBA in the first half. Bryn Forbes hit 4 of Denver’s 14 3-pointers and complimented Nuggets with a 22 point contribution off the bench. Golden State saw Klay Thompson record 16 points, Jordan Poole had 15, Looney posted 13, while Gary Payton II and Jonathan Kuminga had 12 apiece.
