Utah Jazz traded their guard Miye Oni to Oklahoma City Thunder as well as a 2028 second-round pick. Utah enjoyed Oni’s services for three long seasons but he had still fallen out of Jazz’s rotation. Oni joined Golden State Warriors, as the 58th pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, and then Jazz added Oni to their squad for cash.
Oni recorded 80 appearances, and over the years he has averaged 1.8 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.5 assists and shot 35 percent from the floor and 33 percent from the three-point line. This season he has just appeared in 16 matches but did not play more than five minutes. The Jazz’s roster now holds 15 players in total with just 13 players with guaranteed contracts.
