Pelicans kicks off Christmas Day with Miami Heat

Pelicans season opener was a blast with a win against Toronto Raptors and they booked a fight with defending Champions of Eastern Conference on Christmas. Pelicans are in for a tough fight looking at their last season inform opponents but they are coming off a loss from their opening game to Orlando Magic. Pels and Heat’s last encounter was in preseason where New Orleans cruised to a 114-92 win without Jimmy Butler or Goran Dragic in Miami’s arsenal. Pelicans improved their offensive game shooting 53 percent of attempts overall, and 45 percent from distance. Toronto’s defense though curtailed Zion Williamson well and Heat could follow their approach as well as he dominated in their Preseason encounter where he outrebounded Miami by 16 and went all the way to the free-throw line 31 times.
