New Orleans Pelicans post an unbeaten record in their two-game preseason match-winning against Bucks who were without Giannis Antetokounmpo by 127-113. Zion Williamson led the charge for Pelicans with a rally of 31 points on the 12-of-22 shooting from the field while Lonzo Ball’s offensive side improved after the Miami beating to 19 points shooting 7-of-11 from the field and 3-of-6 from range and 8 assists and 5 rebounds.
While Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Ingram, and JJ Redick also contributed heavily with 14 and 11, and 18 points respectively. From the Milwaukee side, Khris Middleton led with 29 points. Pelican's offensive game saw a huge improvement they were efficient and effective. They shot 44-of-86 (51.2%) from the field and 12-of-33 (36.4%) from range. But their defensive game could use an improvement giving up 111 points is something coach Stan Van Gundy needs to focus on.
