Phoenix Suns beat the Sacramento Kings 120-116

The Phoenix Suns rallied from a 20-point deficit to beat the Sacramento Kings 120-116 in their season opener at Mortgage Matchup Center on Wednesday. Despite missing Jalen Green (hamstring), Phoenix outscored Sacramento 66-45 in the second half. The Kings were also shorthanded, with Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) and Keegan Murray (thumb) sidelined. Devin Booker led the Suns with 31 points on 10-of-19 shooting and five rebounds, while Dillon Brooks impressed on debut with 22 points, four rebounds, and two steals. 

Phoenix started Booker, Grayson Allen, Brooks, Ryan Dunn, and Oso Ighodaro, with Mark Williams returning off the bench. Sacramento’s lineup featured Dennis Schroder, Zach LaVine, rookie Nique Clifford, DeMar DeRozan, and Drew Eubanks. After shooting over 60% in the first half, the Kings couldn’t withstand Phoenix’s second-half surge.
