Porter explains his decision to choose Raptors

Otto Porter Jr. had been one of the Warriors’ top priorities this offseason. Golden State Warriors ultimately could just watch from the sidelines as their top target signed a $12.4 million deal with Toronto Raptors for two years. Porter later revealed why he choose to sign with the Raptors rather than stay put with the reigning NBA champions.

After putting in eight seasons worth of hard work within the Eastern Conference, the player made a decision to join Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby and Fred VanVleet. Raptors enjoyed a 48-win season but unfortunately could not get past the first round of the playoffs and ended their 2021-22 campaign early Porter shared "This is a new opportunity for me to come to Toronto and have aspirations to win a championship here.”
