Sixers beat Hornets 121-82 behind 38 points from Embiid

The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Charlotte Hornets 121-82 on Friday night thanks to Joel Embiid's 38 points and 13 rebounds in just 29 minutes. Making it the team's seventh straight win. In this game the 76ers (47-22) lead by 42 points in the second half, Embiid scored 12 points in the first two quarters. A sellout crowd of 19,096 76ers supporters at Charlotte's Spectrum Arena chanted "MVP! MVP!" for Embiid during each half as he also had five assists and four blocked shots.

For Philadelphia, which also had 18 points and five rebounds from Tobias Harris, 13 points from Tyrese Maxey, and 12 points from Shake Milton, James Harden had 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.
