Suns are reportedly not less likely to trade Deandre Ayton

Deandre Ayton's chances of being traded haven't changed after the Suns fired Monty Williams, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon on The Hoop Collective Podcast. Williams and Ayton fought throughout the majority of Williams' time on the squad.

"But by no means do I think that Deandre Ayton staying in Phoenix for the upcoming season is significantly more likely as a result of Monty Williams' departure. Deandre will likely be traded this summer, MacMahon continued on the podcast. Due to the fact that he is still a rather young player, Deandre Ayton is the more valuable asset. Paul is a superior player for the Suns, who have recently given up all of their tradeable draught selections and are currently in contention. The relationship between Ayton and the Suns is undoubtedly still at a peculiar spot even though Williams is no longer there and Frank Vogel has taken his place.
