Duane Washington Jr has entered into a two-way agreement with the Phoenix Suns. The 22-year-old, free agent was an undrafted rookie out of Ohio State in 2021. Last year he served a two-way deal with Indiana but was switched over completely to a standard agreement. Two-way agreements permit NBA groups to have an additional two players notwithstanding the 15 on their standard season list.
He showed up in 48 games for the Pacers last season, averaging 9.9 points per game, alongside 1.8 assists and 1.7 rebounds, averaging 20 minutes a game. The 6-foot, 3-inch player was waived off by the team on July 14, sending him into free agency. But Washington Jr’s future turns out brighter with the Sun.
