The Clippers defeated Oklahoma City, one of the few teams currently ahead of them in the Western Conference rankings, 128-117 thanks to a season-high 38 points from Paul George. The Clippers have shown a level of tenacity this season that hasn't been seen in previous years. Despite losing their starting centre, Ivica Zubac, for at least the next month while they reevaluate his strained right calf, they have gone two months without losing one of their key players and are now 26-14.
The Thunder (27–13) took advantage of open looks from some of its top shooters, including Isaiah Joe and Lu Dort, to score 50% overall, including 47% on three-pointers. The Clippers' free-throw percentage of 60% was their third-worst of the season and completely out of character for the sixth-best club in the league.
